There is a song by Bebe & Cece Winans titled ‘Up Where We Belong’ - it’s one of the classics and one of my favourite songs in the entire world. It speaks of a place our hearts identify with but our realities haven’t yet experienced; it’s the perfect community.

I promised to help your creative journey, help you reach into yourself and bring out those masterpieces and all I’ve been trying to do is to get you acquainted with me and how my mind works. But. Not. Anymore. I think we’re literally bestfriends now.

Henceforth, you are the focus of attention and the question you have to ponder on this weekend is ‘Where Do You Belong?’

I’m not talking friendship even though that’s important. I’m talking about where your mind is enlightened, your hands strengthened and your back covered.

Whatever it is you do, there’s a colony you can find and join.

Use Google to find them. Use Social Media to find them. Ask colleagues and friends about communities that can enrich your mind, career, business, health, spirituality.

Lone rangers aren’t just people who travel alone; they are people who arrive alone unidentifed and uncelebrated.

After all the hardwork and sacrifices, who do you celebrate with? Who are those who storm into the field or fighting arena and lift you up on your shoulder to announce you a Champion?

COMMUNITY ISN’T OVERRATED.
